Texture is wanted at MAWTT's

Good Morning,

Thursday morning has arrived and along with it is a new challenge starting over at

Moving Along With The Times

Texture 

is what this week's hostess  Ang (Mrs Duck) would like to see.

She  would like you to use embossing (heat or dry) or texture paste to make a textured project.

Papers - printed from Do crafts & Crafters Companion CD's

Tag - Die cut (not sure of make) cut twice, white layer textured with cuttlebug folder

Sentiment - printed from Do crafts CD

House - cut file I made on Cameo

Flowers - Delightful Daisies (again) & punched Stamped with distress ink & coloured with same.

All layers were inked with distress ink and faux stitched.

Lace, twine & viva pearls were added for that finishing touch.

Late again :(

Came home from work and laid on the bed with a cuppa. 2 hours later woke up and had to prepare and cook dinner, good job it was just me home this evening!

Friday Sketch Challenge

Please don't feel you have to make the outer shape a circle, the layout is just for inspiration!!

Here's what I did with the sketch:

I put my cameo to work again!

Card base - Birds cut file

Lettering - my designs

Image - Not sure this is still avaliable was printed & cut

Floral bits - stamped & die cut using Delightful Daisies from Heartfelt Creations

Bit of glitter and a few pearls and there you have it.

It's nearly the weekend, yippee!

Thought I would share a card with you today that I made for my friend at work.

She loves owls and was really taken with the laser cut background when she see a card I made for my blogging buddy Debs at the beginning of the month.

All bits were cut on the cameo in kraft card & First Edition Boho Chic papers. Before assembling the owl I inked the edges of all pieces and curled the wing to add the sentiment to. 

Kerry (that's my friends name) was absolutely thrilled with it and plans to make it into a fridge magnet (might make some to sell at the fund raiser). Thanks for the idea Kerry!

Image - Perfect Pear by Birdie Brown. I think this is a fab image that is suitable for an Anniversary, wedding or engagement card, something a bit different.

Coloured with Markers and SN pencils, got the pencils but haven't had time for a proper play:(

Black & Gold Sparkle

Good Morning,

Surprise, I'm here again!!!!!!!!!!! 3 days on the trot, don't expect it to last:)

This time with a simple card.

All cut on the cameo

2 solid black butterflies, 

• 1 stuck flat onto the backing paper
• 1 with a glittery gold laser cut one stuck on top 

The bodies were stuck together,

A row of gems were then added.

Letters were cut in glittery gold and an offset in black. There we have it, told you it was simple!

I'm gonna shock again tomorrow as I'll be back with my MAWTT's DT and I'm hostess this week

Gorjuss Best Friends

Good Morning my Lovelies,

I was browsing through my digi folders last week and found this little beauty that I have never printed off. I used my cameo to print and cut the image & to cut the butterfly & mats.

The butterfly was cut in two layers, One solid in red & a filigree one in white which I glittered before layering up and adding a gem to the body. 

The image was coloured with Copics and (the photo doesn't show it) glamour dust. Before adding the image I did a bit of doodling round the edges. Finally a  papermania sentiment was stamped, matted  and added. I was quite pleased with the CAS outcome, hope you like!

Things With Wings @ Dream Valley

Good Afternoon my lovely crafty friends,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I had a bit of a sort out of my stock boxes as I have been asked if I would be willing to let someone sell my cards at a fund raiser for Cynthia Spencer, a local hospice. Before the event thought I had better get my stock boxes in order so made some divers with labels on which I print & cut on the cameo. Oh how I love my cameo!

I wouldn't mind but it's been finished, sitting on my desk waiting for me to photograph for at least 2 week's. The week's are flying by and it completely slipped my mind that it was team A's week.
