Happy 40th
Good Evening All,
Hope you are all well.
It's been raining all day here, the good thing about that, there's no need to water the garden.
I would like to share a card with you that was an order. The customer chose the Sassy Studio image 'Martini Pin Up' which I've had for a while but never used. I've always worried about grounding the image, didn't want it to look as though she was floating mid air. Well it was time to challenge myself.
I coloured the image in with copics & chalks, I glittered the dress and added glossy accents to the glass, I used a spellbinder die to cut out the image using the out of the box technique to cut out the leg. This was mounted onto a black faux nestie mat with a ribbon positioned to give her something to sit on, wrapping it round the back of the background paper. A spellbinder die was used to cut out a borer that was tucked under the ribbon and the same die was used to cut small pieces that was added to the top of the card.
The sentiment was computer generated and cut out with a spellbinder circle die and mounted onto a SB scalloped circle mat. The flowers were cut out with a mixture of joy craft dies and a punch, these were layered up and a mixture of card candi and viva pearls were added to the centres.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Thinking of You
Good Morning everyone,
It's bright & sunny here today!
It's amazing how a bit of sunshine can make you feel so much better, isn't it?
I am sharing a card I made to put in my stock box. I am always being asked for Sympathy cards which I find really difficult to do, that's why I need to fill up.
Any way I chose the sentiment 'Thinking of You' as I just think this is so much nicer & can also be used for other occasions such as someone with an ill relation or someone recovering from an illness.
Image - Bugaboo 'Tulipcan'
colouring medium - Copics
Papers - Pampered Pets & 'Dainty Dots' embossed
Sentiment - Computer generated
Enjoy your day!

Happy Driver
Good Evening everyone,
It's been a lovely day here in Northampton, so warm I had to take off my cardi @ work today. Don't do that very often!!!!
I have moved jobs recently, still with the same organisation. I now work part of my hours in the workshop where we do crafty type activities as part of the patients therapy. I'm really enjoying it and am having a great time making things to give as pressies at Christmas. How lucky am I?
Today's card is one I made for my Nephew's Birthday.
I used an image from DigiStamp Boutique 'Henry Driving' which I coloured with copic's & chalks
The papers were a free download from The Shabby Princess . I have embossed the plainer paper on the panel at the bottom but have left it plain on the sign post. On the top card I stamped the sentiment on using a papermania stamp. The sentiment on the bottom card was computer generated.
I have changed the text in the number plate to make it fit for purpose.
The star on the sign post was cut from the paper in photoshop and was cut out with a circle die. The tickets were printed from the same download as the papers.
Enjoy the rest of your evening

Make a Wish
Good Morning to you all.
I am pleased to say that after nearly 3 months of having a broken laptop screen it is finally mended.
I have been putting it off as I was worried that I would purchase the wrong screen. However this week I contacted a seller on Ebay who was so helpful, he advised me which one to buy after I sent him the make and model of my laptop and the number from the existing screen.
I ordered it late on Monday, it arrived Wednesday and 10 mins later I had a fully working laptop thanks to my Son, it was so easy to fit apparently.
No more linking to a screen and sitting at a skew.
No more printing without seeing what I'm printing
And....I can now link up to my silhouette
and I can get on with blogging!!!!!!!!!!!
Enough waffle......
Here's a card I would like to share, only cause I can:

Friday Sketch Challenge #45
Good Morning crafters,
Nearly the weekend again, where do the weeks go?
I'm at a craft sale tomorrow at the village church so been busy labelling and packing cards! Why don't I do it as I make them it would be so much easier!!!
Today there is a new challenge starting over @ Friday Sketch Challenge , Mariska has created a super sketch for us which got me thinking but I'm quite pleased with the outcome.
Here's the sketch:
We are sponsored this week by 2 Cute ink
I have used their digi image 'Catterpillar Hugs' which I coloured with copics.
The papers are Shabby princess which was a free download.
A plain green paper was matted onto black card & the image was applied to this.
The patterned green paper was again matted onto black card and an aperture was cut out using a spellbinder die. This was then placed over the image using foam pads.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #159
Good Morning Everyone,
Hope you are all having a great weekend!
I went shopping with my Sister yesterday to buy plants for my hanging baskets. Thought I might be tempting fate but guess what! It's another sunny day here in Northampton so in the garden I must go to plant them up. Oh and we got the grow bags for the tommie's so must do that too.

Over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp see's the start of a new challenge today which Mari has designed us a super sketch to play with
Here's what I came up with:
Here's what I came up with:
I am aware that I don't do enough florally cards & as soon as I make one it sells. So when out shopping for crafty bits for work the other evening and I saw a Papermania 'Just to Say' stamp set for sale for just £1 which I couldn't resist, the set come with the image & sentiment stamp above a rose tree stamp that I have stamped and will share with you later in the week.
The papers are digi ones from Nitwits 'breath fresh air too' and have been matted onto black card.
The butterflies were cut on the silhouette and glittered with glamour dust.
Don't forget, use the sketch and there must be a stamped image or sentiment on your creation.
Can't wait to see what you come up with!
