Pastels @ TPC

Good Morning,
Friday again, don't the weeks fly by!
Over at  Totally PaperCrafts Pat is hosting the new challenge, the theme she has chosen us is: Pastels. So we would like to see any creations with pastel colour tones.
On offer to the lucky winner is a prize from this week's sponsor:

This is what I created:

The paper was printed from the Boofle CD from Do Crafts. The image is from Little Claires and was coloured with Markers and glamour dust. The sentiment was stamped onto the backing paper, the stamp is from Papermania. The number and mats were cut on the silhouette, the number was coloured with the same marker as the heart and glittered.

 Have a fabby weekend!

Beautiful Borders @ TPC

Good Morning to you all,
Yesterday was so windy I wonder if today's going to be the same. It was good cause the washing dried once I'd managed to hang it out.

Wendy is hosting the new challenge over at
and has chosen
Beautiful Borders
as the theme.

This challenge is being sponsored by

who's offering the lucky winner of this weeks challenge a grab bag.

I have used a Sponsors image 'Valentine Girl Rose Hat' which I took over to Photoshop and added a sentiment to the heart. I thought this image was ideal for a Mothers Day Card but could also be used for almost any occasion. The image was coloured with markers and glitter was added to the frill on the heart and round the edge of the image mat. The border was cut using a Spellbinders edge ability die to which I added a strip of the backing paper and a ribbon/bow. The paper is one I printed off some time ago I think, but am not sure that it was from a Do Crafts CD. All the mats and the pearls are deep purple but has not photographed very well and looks black.

Hop on over to the main challenge blog to see more beautiful borders

TPC

Good morning my crafty friends,

I can't believe how quick the week's come round.
Friday already which means a new challenge over at Totally PaperCrafts with team B
The lovely Lisa is hosting the challenge this week and has chosen a super theme:

'Christmas/non traditional colours'

I went with rust, beige and kraft with a touch of gold.
The image is 'Snowman Chorus' from Ladybug Ink who is sponsoring the challenge this week.
The image was coloured with a mixture of markers, distress inks & stickles.
This was then mounted behind a frame cut out using 2 sizes of bauble dies from Spellbinders as was the computer generated sentiment.

This was mounted onto HOTP papers using foam pads along with a poinsettia cut out & embossed using a spellbinder die.

It's worth hopping on over to the main challenge blog to see what other colour combos my teamies have used.
Also there is a DT call which is well worth a look! A New Year a new challenge, go on try out!!!!!

Button it up @ TPC

Good Morning,

It's been a strange week this week for me & I can honestly say I don't know where all the time has gone. I have not had time to comment at all this week apart from my DT commitments but I am hoping I will be more organised from now on, fingers crossed!!!

Today there is a new challenge starting over at Totally PaperCrafts with Team B and Wendy hosting.
Wendy has chosen us a great theme:

'Button It Up'
so come on get out your button pots an get creating!

We are sponsored by the fab Kenny K
The winner will  receive 5 digis of their choice.

The DT was given an image to use and I chose Bow (adult)

The image was coloured with copics & a touch of chalk, think I could have gone a bit darker with the hair, bit too much highlight me thinks. The sentiment and the border was created in Photoshop, the line drawing was a first for me and took me ages! The tree is a MB die which I glittered with glamour dust and added buttons as baubles, I had no red ones so had to use copics to colour up some white ones.

Why not check out what my talented teamies have created to inspire you here.

Enjoy your weekend!

Let's see some stitching @ Totally PaperCrafts

Good Morning

What lovely weather are we having at the moment here in the UK.
I hope where ever you are the weather is also being kind.

Today there is a new challenge starting over at Totally PaperCrafts.

This week Suzette is hosting the challenge and she has chosen a great theme:

'Stitching on a Card'

I must say it was a real challenge for me as I've never used my sewing machine in my paper crafting projects before. I have faux stitched before but this time I thought I'd go with the real thing.

I used an image from this week's sponsor Crafty Sentiments 'Fancy Dress'
Crafty Sentiments

I have coloured her in with Copics & Chalks

I then had a play with my Frantage for the first time that I brought a few weeks ago when doing a bit of retail therapy!!!

After stitching the paper onto the mats I distressed the edges with 'tea dye' distress ink.

The little fence was cut out using a MB die.

So come on get stitching I want to see what you create!

Hop on over to the main challenge blog for more great inspiration.
