Wonderful Mum

 Good Afternoon,

An unusual time for me to post I hear you say, but I am on annual leave and am trying to get better at posting more regularly. We'll see how it goes when I get back to work.
I thought I would share the card I made for my Mum who has been so wonderful helping me with my recovery from my recent treatments. "Love you Mum"

All papers used are printed from a Dreamees CD, the backing paper, mat on round focal point and for the flowers. The roses are hand rolled and the blossoms were punched.
The leaves were die cut, the doily (by bird cards) was cut on the cameo both in kraft and both were inked with distress ink.
The sentiment was made by me on the computer.
Hope you like, my Mum did!

Shaping up @ MAWTT

Good Morning,

Hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather we are having at the moment, I know I am. Can't wait to start cooking on the BBQ, well actually I sit and watch my Son Matthew do the cooking, he loves it.

The lovely Kelly is hosting the challenge this week at
and she is wanting to see you shape up, so anything except squares

This is how I shaped up:

This is the card I made for Matthew's birthday that is coming up in May. He is a X box fan, not that he gets to play as often as he would like since Harvey (my gorgeous little Grandson) was born over a year ago now. How quick that time has gone. I used a free cut file from Birds cards which I cut on the cameo. The buttons were edged in a silver wax and mounted on foam to give a bit of dimension. The sentiment is computer generated and again cut to shape on the cameo.

I hope you will come and join in this week's challenge and visit all my teamies to see how they have shaped up!

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #211

Good Morning,
& what a lovely sunny one it is.

I am hosting this week's new challenge over at
I need to let you know of a few changes to the challenge - instead of a weekly sketch we will be moving to a fortnightly challenge.
In addition we will be picking our "DT Top Three" favorite rather than having one winner selected by random.org

Here is my sketch:

Hope you likey!
If you do why not get crafting and join in this fortnights challenge, the more the merrier.
This is my interpretation:

I had a rummage in my box of papers & found these super ones printed from the Chelsie didital paper pack from Sassy Designs & guess what, they have a sale on at the moment, well worth a look.
The doiley was cut on the silhouette it was free download & can be found here. Again well worth a look.
Both the image & the sentiment (plus mats) were printed and cut using the silhouette.
The image is from The Stamp Fairy & can be found here, they also have a sale on at the mo. I have used markers to colour in the image & added some glossy accents to the nose & some glamour dust to the stars.

Have a lovely day
