Jingle Bells PAPPY

Hello Everyone,

I've been AWOL, no fault of my own. Firstly I've been poorly for about 3 weeks, couldn't talk for 1 week (which some may say good) and was off work. It absolutely drained me :(
Then my laptop has been into the repair shop twice , I was having to put a clothes peg on the screen to get a picture. Last Friday my 3 lovely children gave me an early birthday pressie, a new laptop, how lucky am I? Just need to get all my files and programmes loaded :)

Add a Sentiment
is the theme over at
Dream Valley
 starting today.
I have used an image from our fabulous sponsors Pink Gem Designs Which is just so cute!

Image - Jingle Penquins from our sponsor which I added 'PAPPY' to using craft artist
Coloured with Dinkie Inkies from the Dreamees
Sentiment - cut on the Cameo then embossed before being mounted onto red card
Snowflake border - MB die
Snowflakes - Dreamees stamp heat embossed with WOW 'frosty the snowman' powder from Chloe

Into the Woods

Good Morning,

Another great theme this fortnight at
Moving Along With The Times
chosen by Emma which is:

Into the Woods
so flowers, trees, animals

I chose to make a start on my Christmas cards, early I know but I won't keep it up I'm sure!
I used  stamps, stamping the leaves in different shades of green and stamping 2nd & 3rd generation ink. Then stamped the fir cones in brown and over stamping some in gold. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed using a Chloe stamp.

Please do hop on over to the main challenge blog here to see the wonderful creations my teamies have created.

Christmas Wreath

 Hello everyone,

It's not like me to post at a weekend but I missed the start of the new challenge that started Thursday at
Moving Along With The Times

With everyone's favourite theme
Anything Christmas

I stamped flowers (Dreamees) onto vellum with versa mark and heat embossed in white. I the coloured on the back before cutting out to prevent them from curling up. 2 layers were glued together, shaped and glamour dust was added to the centers.
The leaves (Chloe stamps) were stamped onto acetate with versa mark and heat embossed in silver then cut out.
The leaves were arranged onto the card in a wreath shape and the computer generated sentiment was added . The flowers and bow were then added and there you have it!

Dream Valley get Stitching

Good Morning,

I've had a very pleasing end of last week and weekend.
Seems like I've not had good news to share for ages!
Restoration came out Thursday and issued a certificate to say the house is dry (at last)
So on Saturday flooring was laid in the dining room and hall, this had been prematurely booked which until Friday looked as if would have to be cancelled. So you can imagine how happy I am, what a great birthday pressie! Yes it's my Birthday today.

Enough of me.
has a new challenge starting today
Stitching - real or faux

I've made something a little different for this challenge
A wee little Snowman

I cut the body, hat, boots and nose out of grey board then covered them in card. The edges were then sanded and inked and faux stitching was added to the body with a black pen. Black pearls were used for the buttons and eyes and glossy accents were applied to the nose. Bakers twine was used for the scarf and around the hat then a holly establishment was stamped from the Chloe boot stamp to add to the hat (after being glittered. Holes were punched with my big bite and brown string was used to hang boots on.
Hope you like!!!!!! I do, I love snowmen

Silver Anniversary

Good Morning,

A little bit of sparkle this morning.
I was asked to make a card for a 25th wedding anniversary & immediately thought of a stamp that I brought some time ago which I have never got round to inking up. I also knew the colour combo I was going to use, silver and aqua, just rings silver wedding to me

So here it is:

The image is a stamp by Chloe called lattice heart which I stamped several times and heat embossed with silver WOW powder then decoupaged up after adding glitter, and lots of it! The papers are printed from crafters companion Camden Town CD and swiss dots embossed white paper. All layers were matted onto silver mirri card. Organza ribbon & bow, pearls & a sparkler was added for that extra bit of bling. Oh, nearly forgot the numbers, they were cut on my cameo.

Hope you likey!

I had to make another card for the same couple, be back tomorrow to share that one. It's very different and not a bit of glitter in sight!
