Fathers Day

Good Morning,

Hope you all had a fabby weekend!
I never got the BBQ lite nor a sort  out in the garage.
Instead I went out buying plants and spent most of Sunday in the garden. A little red now!
My son came to visit with little Harvey (my Grandson) with the new addition to the family.

Not the bestest picture but here is Bella, an 8 week old black Labrador. How sweet is she?

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #211

Good Morning,
& what a lovely sunny one it is.

I am hosting this week's new challenge over at
I need to let you know of a few changes to the challenge - instead of a weekly sketch we will be moving to a fortnightly challenge.
In addition we will be picking our "DT Top Three" favorite rather than having one winner selected by random.org

Here is my sketch:

Hope you likey!
If you do why not get crafting and join in this fortnights challenge, the more the merrier.
This is my interpretation:

I had a rummage in my box of papers & found these super ones printed from the Chelsie didital paper pack from Sassy Designs & guess what, they have a sale on at the moment, well worth a look.
The doiley was cut on the silhouette it was free download & can be found here. Again well worth a look.
Both the image & the sentiment (plus mats) were printed and cut using the silhouette.
The image is from The Stamp Fairy & can be found here, they also have a sale on at the mo. I have used markers to colour in the image & added some glossy accents to the nose & some glamour dust to the stars.

Have a lovely day

CAS @ MAWTT

Good Morning everyone,

It's time for a new challenge over at
The BOSS  Hazel is hosting this week
Clean & Simple
is her chosen theme

I grabbed this fab digi for free from Meljens Designs FB page the other weekend. It's called  'Number One Dad Stitched' which can be found here and has 50% off at the moment. I printed it off on a white piece of 5.5" card which was mounted onto a black mat. I then printed it off on a piece of blue & brown nitwits paper, cut out the letters and used them to paper piece the image.
I was pleased with the outcome so made a second one using the remaining letters.

Not sure which one I prefer! & I'm not sure why the card looks blue, it is definitely white

Hope one over to the main challenge blog for some fabulous ideas from the girls of team A.

Good Morning,

Not sure what's happened , but I don't seem to be able to upload pictures to my blog. I have seen someone else post this a couple of day's ago so I presume it must be a problem with Blogger. If anyone has any tips on how to cure this please let me know'

Anyway it's time to remind you that the challenge over @ Friday Sketch Challenge  has one week left for you to enter. I have made a card to remind you of the sketch please hop on over here to see what I made.

I have used an image from this fortnights sponsor The Stamp Fairy. I chose to use Barry Circles that I have coloured with Copics. The papers are MME, stars were cut on the silhouette and have been embellished with a selection of buttons & brads.

Patriotic Nelly

Good Morning,

Well a little break for us all and hopefully a bit of play time. Hope the weather stays nice (although it's raining here this morning) for all the street parties that are taking place over this holiday.

My card today is in keeping with all the union jacks about at the moment. I have added a crafters companion image (again) which was coloured with spectrum noirs & chalks. The bunting was cut on the silhouette and has had distress ink added to the edges and stamped with an alphabet set from dimension fourth. Bakers twine has been threaded through the holes to string the word together. A distressed die cut border has been used across the centre which has had ribbon and brads added to it for that finishing touch

I would like to enter the following:

Celebrate the occasion - anything goes
Cupcake craft challenge - Royalty

My Mum's craft shop - red white & blue
Lili's Little Fairies - anything goes
