It was my turn to design a sketch this week for the challenge over @ Friday Sketch Challenge, I hope you like it and will join in as I would love to see how you use the sketch.

I have teamed him up with some HOTP papers that I have been stroking for many years now so thought I had better start using!

 

The image was coloured with Copics, chalks & glamour dust.

 

The sentiment is computer generated and cut out using a tag die.

I have my first cycle of treatment this morning so have left this post in Mr Bloggers hands to publish  for me, fingers crossed!!!

Here's my card using Sewing Cat



 

The image was coloured with Copics & the pin head has had some glossy accents added to it. The backing paper was embossed with the button box folder from Embossalicious. The tape measure embellie was a freebie from Nitwits. The sentiment was computer generated before being die cut with a tag die, not sure of the make.

Friday Sketch Challenge #51





I'm back with my second post of the day.
Nothing for ages then 2 come along together, a bit like buses!!!!!!
Which I am finding out as I am unable to drive at the moment.

This week's sponsor over at Friday Sketch Challenge is:

I have used 'Kitty Paintbrush' which I coloured with markers. I added a little chalk and glossy accents to the paint to give it a wet look.
The papers are MME and have been matted onto black card following this fab sketch from the lovely Debs.

Friday Sketch Challenge #45

Good Morning crafters,

 

Nearly the weekend again, where do the weeks go?

 

I'm at a craft sale tomorrow  at the village church so been busy labelling and packing cards! Why don't I do it as I make them it would be so much easier!!!

 

Today there is a new challenge starting over @ Friday Sketch Challenge , Mariska has created a super sketch for us which got me thinking but I'm quite pleased with the outcome.

Here's the sketch:

I have used their digi image 'Catterpillar Hugs' which I coloured with copics.
The papers are Shabby princess which was a free download.
A plain green paper was matted onto black card & the image was applied to this.
The patterned green paper was again matted onto black card and an aperture was cut out using a spellbinder die. This was then placed over the image using foam pads.

 

 

The arrow shaped embellies were cut out by hand and a papermania sentiment was stamped onto one of these. They were added to the card with a mixture of glue and foam pads.

Friday Sketch Challenge #37 reminder

Good Morning,

Friday's here again which means a weekend is upon us. Weekends means time to craft yippee!!!

I've got a few orders I need to get done then it's time to play

I have used one of our sponsors images Doggie Tutu. I have used copics & chalks to colour in the image. I used copics to colour the ribbon (that my new pyjamas were wrapped in) so that it matched the image. The paper are quite a few years old from DCWV.

Still in the process of sorting some candy which I will post over the weekend!

Friday Sketch Challenge #37

Good Morning,

Well I'm begining to feel better after being off work since Tuesday lunchtime. I had a toothache since the Wed before but with work commitments kept going, Monday night I was awake most of the night so went to the dreaded dentist, got antibiotics and just this morning feel they are working.

 Hope I've lost a few pounds as I've been unable to eat much, I've survived on porridge (sweet cinnamon, very nice) & creme caramel

Viva pearls have been applied to the paint on pink card

Clear embossing powder has been applied to the paint on blue card

I enjoyed colouring this image so much  & thought the sketch worked well with it that I went on to make one in blue too
