Back to the 20's

Good Morning my crafty friends,

Hope you are all well and looking forward to your weekend.
I'm back to work on Monday, the 2 weeks have flown by.

I was pleased with the LO of the card I posted yesterday so decided to use it again.
This time I coloured up a super sweet image from The Paper Shelter  called In The 20's
isn't she just adorable.

I used markers & chalk to colour the image and added a little glitter to the flower. The papers are from Raspberry Road called Timeless Victorian, they have lots to choose from and well worth a look. The sentiment was computer generated. The border die is from Spellbinder - A2 Scalloped Borders One. Finishing touches doily, seam binding & frantage.

Beautiful Mermaid

Hi Everyone,
I'm here to share a card I made for my Granddaughter in April which I never got round to posting.
She is mermaid mad and I had won an image from The Paper Shelter some time ago that I chose but never used. Ideal opportunity I thought.

I used photoshop and a couple of Raspberry Road papers from the Fruit Salad collection to create the background. The image Beautiful Mermaid was then added & once printed out was coloured with markers & chalks. Oh & some pee wee glitters were added for a bit of girly sparkle. The sentiment was printed & cut on the silhouette as was the numbers & scalloped mat.

Hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather we are having at the moment.
Thank you for visiting today.

Friday Sketch Challenge #50

I'm back with my second post this morning. Please scroll down to my TPC DT card here.

A new challenge has started over at Friday Sketch Challenge this morning.
Janine , who has sadly stepped down form her post with us designed this super sketch for us.

and this is what I came up with

The image is another of my recent challenge wins from The Paper Shelter, how sweet is this. It is called 'Cute Pals' and can be viewed in store here. I have used markers & a touch of chalk to colour the image in. The backing papers were in my stash box which came free with a mag long long time ago. The hearts were from the same set of papers which I mounted onto card and cut out to ues as embellies.

There are more examples of how to use the sketch and of this week's prize on the main challenge blog here.  Can't wait to see your interpretation of the sketch so come on gggeeetttt crafting!

I would like to enter:

Totally Papercrafts DT Card

Good Morning,

Summer has arrived! Isn't it lovely to see a bit of sunshine.

There's a new challenge over @ Totally Papercrafts

This week's hostess is Carol who has chosen us great theme:

'Lets here it for the Boys'

My chosen image is 'Little Cowboy' from The Paper Shelter. I have used Copics, ProMarkers & chalks to colour in the image which I then cut out leaving a white border round the edge.

. The wood grain paper is one I created from sample image & the spotty one is a scrap from my ever growing box. I have used kraft card to mount all layers on to and the stars and banner shadows were also cut out of the same card on the silhouette.

Hop on over to the main challenge blog for more super inspiration form my talented teamies.

This week we are being sponsored by
who is offering a prize is 3 images of winners choice (includes sets)

GDT Songbird Challenge

Good Morning,

I've had a crafting weekend with my Daughter Kaylee. She helped me get a batch of Christmas cards, gift tags & money wallets ready for the craft fair I'm doing next weekend.

Laura from Songbird Challenge asked me to do a GDT spot & of course I said YES.

The challenge theme is a song title and this week that is:

'Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend'

For my card, I opted to use Excecutive Woman from this weeks sponsor The Paper Shelter She has been coloure in with Spectrum Noirs & a touch of chalk. This is the first time that I have coloured her up and I'm sure to colour her again she's so lovely to colour.

I've used some digital papers from Sassy Designs  and some white paper that has been embossed with a spellbinder folder. I have embelished the card with cherry blossom flowers & leaves (both a memory box die), punched flowers & butterflies (cut on the silohette). All have had clear gems added for a bit of sparkle.
I hope that I have given you a little bit of inspiration. You can find more beautiful creations on the challenge blog.
Have a good day
