Jingle Bells PAPPY

Hello Everyone,

I've been AWOL, no fault of my own. Firstly I've been poorly for about 3 weeks, couldn't talk for 1 week (which some may say good) and was off work. It absolutely drained me :(
Then my laptop has been into the repair shop twice , I was having to put a clothes peg on the screen to get a picture. Last Friday my 3 lovely children gave me an early birthday pressie, a new laptop, how lucky am I? Just need to get all my files and programmes loaded :)

DV Christmas in July

Good Morning,

How lovely to see the sun shining. A bit too hot to sit in at times! (I'm not moaning)

Today see's a new challenge starting over at
Dream Valley
The theme being:
Christmas in July
Sponsoring the challenge this week is the fabby:
I was lucky to be given the very cute 'Robin with mistletoe' image which you can purchase here

I coloured the image with markers and chalks, I filled the scarf, brim of hat and pompom with viva pearls then added a sprinkling or glamour dust while wet to give a bit of dimension. The falling snow and that on the ground had crystal ice stickles added to it and the mistletoe berry had viva pearls.

The papers were from LOTV which I believe are no longer available.

The sentiment was stamped using a very old stamp from HOTP

The snowflake die is from Joy Crafts with gems added to the centers.

Please come and join in this fab challenge here

Have a great day!

New Beginnings @ Dream Valley

Good Morning,
It's been a long time since I've done any blogging.
I've been having trouble with my laptop, it kept turning itself off whilst I was in the middle of things. I gave up using it as it was so annoying. Then my Daughter borrowed it and it turned off and wouldn't turn on again. I took it to the local repair shop who after having it for several days it is mended.
Apparently it started updating itself to windows 10 but it turned off mid way through which had caused it to no longer load up. The repair man forced the upgrade and now it's working fine and no longer turning off, hooray!!!! So blogging buddies I'm ready to start regular visits/postings

Your Favourite Song @ Songbird

Good Morning Crafters,

Hope you all had a good weekend & those of you that went to the NEC treated yourself to lots of goodies. I never made it this year so felt compelled to have a spend on line, can't wait to get my parcel!!!

Today see's the start of a new challenge @ Songbird Challenge today with a great theme

'Your Favourite Song'

We are sponsored by Pink Gem Designs
the DT was offered a digi of their choice to create their card for this challenge.
I chose Jolly Robins to create my card to resemble:

'When The Red Red Robin Comes Bob Bob Bobbing Along'

I went for a CAS design printing the image and a sentiment out to fit on a 5.5" piece of card.
I coloured the image in with Copics,  glitter gel pens & glamour dust.
I matted this onto gold, then red card before adding to the card base.

Forgot to say I added glossy accents to the glass.

I then added a parchment & glamour dusted layered snowflake with a gem in the centre but couldn't make up my mind with or without. Your thoughts would be good!

The trouble is now, I keep singing!! Not good!!!!

Why not join in this fortnights challenge and get singing too!
Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Have a great day!
