Sunday Sketch & Stamp #159

Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you are all having a great weekend!
I went shopping with my Sister yesterday to buy plants for my hanging baskets. Thought I might be tempting fate but guess what! It's another sunny day here in Northampton so in the garden I must go to plant them up. Oh and we got the grow bags for the tommie's so must do that too.

Over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp see's the start of a new challenge today which Mari has designed us a super sketch to play with

Here's what I came up with:

I am aware that I don't do enough florally cards & as soon as I make one it sells. So when out shopping for crafty bits for work the other evening and I saw a Papermania 'Just to Say' stamp set for sale for just £1 which I couldn't resist, the set come with the image & sentiment stamp above a  rose tree stamp that I have stamped and will share with you later in the week.

The papers are digi ones from Nitwits 'breath fresh air too' and have been matted onto black card.
The butterflies were cut on the silhouette and glittered with glamour dust.

Hop on over the challenge blog to see more super inspiration from my teamies.
Don't forget, use the sketch and there must be a stamped image or sentiment on your creation.
Can't wait to see what you come up with!

My first DT creation for MAWTT

Good Morning,

It's finally here! My first post for MAWTT

They are a bunch of super talented girl's I feel privileged to be joining them, I'm sure to learn a trick or 2 from them, can't wait. The DT have been split into 2 teams, I am on team A & this weeks theme is:

Floral Delights (Anything with Flowers)

Here is my card

The image is from this weeks sponsor A Passion for Stamps who kindly gave the DT a digi of their choice.  I chose Cosmos which I coloured in using distress inks - peeled paint & victorian velvet that I applied with a water brush, the centre of the flower was coloured using a glitter gel pen.

The mats are white paper that have been coloured with the same distress ink, the mat for the image was cut out by hand after drawing round the die as the one for the image was the largest die in the set.
The paper was embossed with spellbinders reversible A4 folder 'dainty dots'
The sentiment is computer generated

The butterflies were cut on the silhouette and glittered with glamour dust.

Friday sketch challenge #22 (reminder)

Good morning crafters,

What a wonderful sunny week it's been this week.

Hop on over to Friday sketch challenge Shirley has designed a wonderful sketch for us to follow & you have just one week left to enter. This is the 2nd card I have made following the sketch, this time I have rotated the sketch (view my first card here)

Here is my card. The sentiment is the focal point which  has been framed with the 'floral corner with butterfly' stamp from flonzcraft. This has been coloured with pro & flexi markers and gems have been added to the centre of the flowers. The papers are digi downloads from Nitwits & Raspberry Road & have been mounted onto black card.

I would just like to say Hi to all my lovely followers and a big thank you to everyone who has left some lovely comments

Happy crafting
Carole xXx

OH, I nearly forgot, don't know why because I was so pleased. My card Dear Santa was given a place in the top 3 over at Willow sketchie challenge last week.
