Gorjuss Best Friends

Good Morning my Lovelies,

I was browsing through my digi folders last week and found this little beauty that I have never printed off. I used my cameo to print and cut the image & to cut the butterfly & mats.

The butterfly was cut in two layers, One solid in red & a filigree one in white which I glittered before layering up and adding a gem to the body.

The image was coloured with Copics and (the photo doesn't show it) glamour dust. Before adding the image I did a bit of doodling round the edges. Finally a  papermania sentiment was stamped, matted  and added. I was quite pleased with the CAS outcome, hope you like!

Have a lovely Day!

Ladybird, Ladybird

Good Afternoon,

I hope you had a good weekend and  have a great week ahead.
My weekend was very busy, family visiting Saturday and Harvey came to spend the day with us on Sunday while Mummy was working and Daddy was having a bit of me time.
It's a good job I had my DT card made for the new challenge starting today over at
The theme this fortnight is
Lets Get Krafty
I cut my kraft card base on my Cameo using a file from Birds Cards

This fortnight Imagine That are kindly sponsoring the challenge and they gave the DT some digi's to use on their creations. I have used Ladybug Friends image & sentiment which I print & cut on the cameo then used watercolour pencils to colour the image in adding some stickles for a bit of glitz. The kraft card butterflies were also cut on the cameo and were covered with stickles & bodies added using cosmic shimmer gold coloured glue.

Hop on over to see what else has been created by my teamies with this and other images from this week's sponsor here. If you enjoy using kraft why not come and join in the challenge.

Sunday Sketch Challenge #169

Good Morning,

I must say I am getting quite used to being at home and not rushing off to work every morning. I've now been off just over 4 weeks and have more surgery planned on the 20th August. I have been told that I will be off work for at least 4 weeks after my next op and will probably not be able to craft for a while:( I have been busy this last week trying to get all my DT cards made and scheduled up till the middle of September, I've never been so organised!! I hope Mr Blogger behaves now!!!

I must apologise for not commenting on your beautiful creations of late.
But let me reassure you I have been to visit you all.
I am hoping to take my laptop in with me, fingers crossed they'll let me use it.

There's a new challenge starting today over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp with this super sketch by the lovely Ann Marie for us to follow

Here's my card following the sketch:

I have used a  image from Tiddly Inks - Wryn Blooms which I coloured with Copics & chalks. The papers are from The Shabby Princess from 2 different collections in the free download section. In a graphics programme I picked the colour from the backing paper to print off a piece of plain yellow paper. I used this to cut out a circle which I embossed to mat on top of the Spellbinders fancy circle die that was distressed with Tea Dye distress ink. The image was then cut out and mounted on top of the circle. The sentiment is one I've had printed off a while, I think it was from a Do crafts CD.

Why not hop on over to the main challenge blog for more details of this week's challenge and some great inspiration from my teamies.

Bling it on @ MAWTT

Good Morning,

It's time for a brand new challenge at Moving Along With The Times and this week sees the turn of Team A and it's the lovely Sue's turn to host the challenge and she has chosen the theme:

"Bling it on"
so we would like to see your creations with sparkle, glitter, gems, pearls, metallic etc SIMPLES!!

Here's my card that I made using Nesting Dolls digi on the Russia set from this week's sponsor Digi my World.

I thought the image was ideal to be used shaped as an easle card.. The image was sized to fit a 5.5" square which I cut out, I then cut round the top of the image leaving a white border. This was then mounted onto a larger piece of black card and again this was cut round leaving a black border all round the image.

The image was coloured with copics and to bling it up I added gems to the centres of the flowers and glamour dust under their chins.

Matching polka dot paper was mounted onto a black mat which was used as the stopper. Ribbon, more gems & a stamped sentiment was added to the stopper for that finishing touch.

We are sponsored this week by Digi my World

Prize is $10 dollar Voucher to spend in-store

Friend

Good Evening,

Something different from me today. I had a vision but it's not quite how I imagined, what do you think?

I have used papers from Raspberry rd both as the backing & to stamp the sentiment on. I have used Victorian velvet ink to distress the die cut, roses, backing mat & the sentiment. The pink strip has been glittered for a bit of sparkle and pearls have been added to embellish. I am going to enter Totally papercrafts challenge - bingo (pink, glitter & pearls).

Happy Crafting
