Mother's Day

Good Morning,

It's time for a new challenge over at
and this fortnights theme is...
Mother's Day
Sponsoring the challenge is the fabulous
The DT were given an image of their choice to use, I choose  .......
 Flower Vases set.

I used the cameo to print & cut the image out which I then coloured in using markers and stickles. The papers are from LOTV called Romance & but sadly is no longer available. I used a doily with the center cut away in the corner with a computer generated sentiment raised over this. Finishing touches - organza ribbon and bow, pearls and a pearl heart.
I must say I will definitely use this image again,it's supa dupa.

Tag- You're it @ MAWTT

Good Evening,

I can't believe how quickly the week's are flying by. So quick that I forgot it was Team A's turn to show their creations for this week's challenge over at

I must say a big sorry to this week's hostess, the lovely Janice. With a fabby theme

Tag - Your it!
so get out those tags, die cuts or electronic cutting machines and come join in!

My card was made using a Hunkydory kit that was free with a magazine a while ago.
I made an easel card, adding my tag to the ribbon/bow on the card stopper.

Mother's Day @ Dream Valley

 Good Morning,

Don't the weekends fly by?
Which means it's Monday and a new challenge is starting over at
We have not one but two super sponsors:

CRAFTS AND ME ONLINE STORE

&

The Hobby House
This week's theme is:
'Mothers Day'

I have used a fabby image from this week's sponsor  birdy girl valentine digital stamp the sentiment in the heart was added by me. I used the silhouette to print and cut the image before colouring it in with markers. The sentiment and butterflies were also cut on the cutter. The papers are  called 'Boho Chic' a new pad that I couldn't resist! Hobby House pearls were added to the sentiment and butterflies.

Hop on over to see what the team have created.

Beautiful Borders @ TPC

Good Morning to you all,
Yesterday was so windy I wonder if today's going to be the same. It was good cause the washing dried once I'd managed to hang it out.

Wendy is hosting the new challenge over at
and has chosen
Beautiful Borders
as the theme.

This challenge is being sponsored by

who's offering the lucky winner of this weeks challenge a grab bag.

I have used a Sponsors image 'Valentine Girl Rose Hat' which I took over to Photoshop and added a sentiment to the heart. I thought this image was ideal for a Mothers Day Card but could also be used for almost any occasion. The image was coloured with markers and glitter was added to the frill on the heart and round the edge of the image mat. The border was cut using a Spellbinders edge ability die to which I added a strip of the backing paper and a ribbon/bow. The paper is one I printed off some time ago I think, but am not sure that it was from a Do Crafts CD. All the mats and the pearls are deep purple but has not photographed very well and looks black.

Hop on over to the main challenge blog to see more beautiful borders

For You Mum

Evening All,

Hope you've all had a good weekend. The weather here in Northampton is rather wet but luckily no thunder storms thank goodness!

I would like to say hello to Sarah who has kindly chosen to follow me, hope you won't be disappointed!

My card today is one I made for my lovely Mum for Mother's Day, as you may recall from a previous post she likes simple & pink so here it is:

The image is from Tiddlyinks and is called 'Bloom Beautifully' .  I coloured the image with Copics & chalks & added glitter to the butterfly for a bit of sparkle. I sized the image to fit inside a 5.5inch piece of card and positioned this to the right hand side. I then added the stem of flowers with the butterfly on top near Emma so that it looked as if she'd picked the flowers she is holding. The sentiment was then added to the top left. After printing off it was cut out and matted onto a slightly larger piece of black card then onto a 6" scalloped square card

Enjoy your Sunday Evening everyone!

I would like to enter:

One Stop Craft Challenge - add some glitter
Creative corner Challenge - things with wings
2 Sisters - Mother's Day
Crafty Ribbons - no designer papers

Flower fairy

Good afternoon,

Can't believe how quick this week has gone & I've hardly had time to play. Hasn't the weather been wet & cold, hopefully it will get better soon.

Today's card has been made following the sketch over @ sketch n stash. The image is a new stamp (to me) from Nellie Snellen & has been coloured in using promarkers & flexmarkers. The papers are from raspberry rd & plain white which have been embossed &  have been mounted onto gold mirri. The flower & leaves were cut on the sillouhette, (my duaughter designed the flower template for me & is prepared to share it free of charge to any of you lovely crafters that would like it) it was then rolled using s quilling tool and a card candy has been added to the middle.
