Whats New Pussycat

Good Afternoon,

This is the E-Mail I received from a friend giving me the brief for an order:
A large size card - to read “Happy 21st Birthday Dominique - she has a black cat with white socks, can you use this as the subject of the card.

Took a while, not sure what to do, then remembered I had this very cute image which was a freebie from The Stamp Fairy called Kasi. I took the image over to silhouette studio to print and cut the image out then coloured it in with markers. I also printed and cut the sentiment and it's mat in silhouette which I position in puddy's paws.

The numbers were cut on the silhouette in a LOTV paper & the mat in black card.
Heartfelt creations stamp and die set was used to make the flowers and leaves

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #211

Good Morning,
& what a lovely sunny one it is.

I am hosting this week's new challenge over at
I need to let you know of a few changes to the challenge - instead of a weekly sketch we will be moving to a fortnightly challenge.
In addition we will be picking our "DT Top Three" favorite rather than having one winner selected by random.org

Here is my sketch:

Hope you likey!
If you do why not get crafting and join in this fortnights challenge, the more the merrier.
This is my interpretation:

I had a rummage in my box of papers & found these super ones printed from the Chelsie didital paper pack from Sassy Designs & guess what, they have a sale on at the moment, well worth a look.
The doiley was cut on the silhouette it was free download & can be found here. Again well worth a look.
Both the image & the sentiment (plus mats) were printed and cut using the silhouette.
The image is from The Stamp Fairy & can be found here, they also have a sale on at the mo. I have used markers to colour in the image & added some glossy accents to the nose & some glamour dust to the stars.

Have a lovely day

Pop up Ted

Good Evening,
I would like to say welcome to my new followers, I hope you like what you see.

I thought I would share a box card that I made a few weeks ago that my Sister asked me to make for her friend, can you guess what her name is?

The card base was cut on the silhouette. My Daughter helped me put the dimensions in and cut lines/score lines where they needed to be. The papers used are printed from the Camden Town female CD  which I am loving at the moment.

The name and butterflies were cut on the silhouette. The Stamp Fairy Bear was printed and cut on the silhouette then coloured with markers. The flowers were die cut using MB & Joy craft dies.

I was quite pleased with the end result so made a few for the craft sale I did a couple of weeks ago. They proved to be very popular but as always I did not have them with the wording on them made up so had to make to order. That meant no playing the next couple of crafting sessions!

Have a lovely evening

A Hug for You

Good Morning My Crafty Friends,

Sorry I've not been round to visit you all of late but I've had things on my mind that have taken all my energy this last week. But you know they say crafting is a good therapy and being part of some great DT teams gives me something positive to focus on.

I am here to share a card with you I made following this fortnights sketch over @ Friday Sketch Challenge & to remind you all you have 1 more week to get your entries in. The Stamp Fairy are sponsoring us this week and offering one randomly chosen winner $10.00 to spend in store.

I have used Mimi Teddy 2 on my card which I coloured in with Copics & chalks & the dress and shoes have been paper pieced. The papers are a free download from The Shabby Princess. The image has been mounted onto a rosette that was cut and scored on the silhouette using a design that my Daughter created for me. The flowers have been punched/die cut and layered together. Card candi and viva pearls were added to the centres of the flowers.

Have a fab weekend everyone!

Friday Sketch Challenge # 47 DT Card

Good Morning,

I'm back with my second post of the day. Please scroll down for my TPC DT card

Friday Sketch Challenge has a new sketch for you to play with which the lovely Christine has designed for us

to go with this super sketch we have a super sponsor.

The DT were kindly allowed to choose an image to use for this week's DT card.
I chose Mimi Teddy 2 and to go with it I used the free sentiment from the same collection. I have colouerd the image with Copics & chalks, the dots on Mimi's dress were created using the clear copic pen which removed the colour. Both the image & the sentiment were cut out leaving a thin white border round the outside.

The papers are a free download 'Not too shabby- Penelope' from The Shabby Princess.
A die cut frame was mounted on top of the papers along with a ribbon before adding the image which was raised using foam pads. A bow and some pearls were added for that finishing touch.

Hop on over to the main challenge blog for more fab inspiration from my teamies.

Have a great weekend!

A Flower for You

Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you all had a great weekend & had time to enjoy a bit of what you like doing!
It's nice and sunny here at the moment, hope it stays that way. Wasn't it chilly yesterday?

Today's card was made with an image I've had printed for ages but never got round to using, it was freebie from the Stamp Fairy, not sure that it still is as I can't find it.

I've coloured him with my Copics with a touch of chalk.
The papers are from MME a stack I've had for ages but never used. It's one of those stacks you just stroke and put away, frightened you're gonna run out, You all know what I mean I'm sure!
I've used kraft card for the spellbinders border and MB leaf die and to mat Lenny on to.
The flowers were cut on a spellbinder circle die, torn and rolled to form a rose using a quilling tool.

Have a great day everyone!
