Love Birds

Good Morning,

Back to work this morning after a week off  :(  It's always hard going back but ok once I get there.

I have scheduled this post to let you know there's a new challenge starting over at 

Dream Valley

we have the fabby Robyns Fetish sponsoring the challenge and they kindly gave the DT some images to use, I chose Love Birds aren't they just so cute.

Have you guessed what the theme is?

I print and cut the image on my Cameo and coloured it in with markers and a touch of chalk. The backing paper is from a LOTV paper pad called heartfelt which has sadly been discontinued. The heart border has been cut using a MB die and 3 of the hearts  waste has been pieced back in . The sentiment was printed from a Do Crafts CD. A doily with inked edges, ribbon and a gem was added for the finishing touch.

Heart to Heart

I thought I would share a card with you that I made after getting some inspiration from pinterest . 

The card I saw had flowers punched out which I thought would work using hearts, so here it is:

I used the cameo to design & cut the heart aperture panel. Scraps of papers printed from a Dreamees CD were stuck to a smaller piece of white card using the aperture panel to position in the correct place. I then doodled black lines and dots on the panel and stamped the sentiment. Foam tape was used to apply this to the piece with patterned paper on, this was then glued onto a black piece of card. Gems were then added for a bit of sparkle.
