Pocket Pup

 Good Evening,

Don't faint, I am posting this because I feel like it, not because it's a DT make.

This is a card I made a few weeks ago when I was having a play. It's great when you can do what you want sometimes. I'm still trying to reduce the size of my scrap box so theses papers helped just a little!

The image is a Birdie Brown digi which I coloured with markers & a mixture of gems and viva pearls were added to the center of the flowers. The sentiment was computer generated and cut out with a tag die, not sure of the make.

Have a good evening
I'm of to help my Daughter use the silhouette. She's a Nursery Nurse and is planning to make an ice cream stall for the children to play in. So bunting, ice cream cones & lettering are what she has requested.

FSC #68

Good Morning my crafty friends,

Hope you are all well and enjoying some warmer weather.
Have you got something nice planned for the weekend?
I am picking my Granddaughter up from school this afternoon. It's her weekend to spend with her Daddy (my Son) who works late shifts so she spends Friday night with me before he picks her up on a Saturday morning/afternoon. I think fish & chips may be on the cards for tonight, Alisha chooses what we have and this seems to be her fav at the moment.

Friday means a new challenge at
Friday Sketch Challenge.
This week's sketch has been designed by the lovely Christine and here it is:

Lots of scope don't you think. You can flip or rotate the sketch and add embellis where you wish.

Here's my card:

Image - Daffodil Bunny from Di's digis
Papers - Garden Party from Dovecraft
Mats - kraft card
Gems - Papermania
Colouring medium - Markers, chalks & glamour dust

Have a good weekend!

Tag it @ TPC

Good morning crafters,

It's my turn to host this weeks challenge at
which sadly is the last challenge we will be running, so let's make it a bumper one!

The theme I have chosen is:
 'Tag It'
So we would like to see your creations that have a tag on them.

We have a wonderful sponsor this week for our final challenge:
I have used one of their images for my card - Welcome Christmas, I just love Snowmen & this one is so lovely don't you think!
I cut out a luggage label size tag which I covered with a Polka Doodles paper then inked round the edges with distress ink. I put in an eyelet & attached a ribbon bow. The tree is a crafters companion die cut which I added glitter to. I printed out the image 3 times and decoupaged him up after colouring him in with markers and glamour dust. The sentiment was computer generated, cut up into separate words before placing them in his hands.

Hope you will come and join in the final challenge this week & make it a big one!
Happy Easter everyone, have a good break!!!!

We're HAPPY @ MAWTT

Good morning my crafty friends,
I know I have been a bad blogger of late, I'm blaming my return to work for this. Due to the type of work I do I have been given an admin job till I feel confident enough to go back on the wards. The only trouble is the job is completely new to me, requires lots of concentration & is computer based, so by the time I get home the laptop is the last thing I want to see!!! So please accept my apologies and bare with me.

Judith is hosting a new challenge today with Team A over at
Her chosen theme is:
'Happy'
Make a card with the word Happy on it!
Nice easy one this week & Judith has put together a surprise goody bag for one lucky entrant.

I have used the Cosmos image from A Passion for Stamps. I coloured it  yellow as I think this is a 'HAPPY' colour. The card base was cut with a grand scallop circle, the mats were cut with the Martha Stewart circle cutter. The dotty mat on the base of the card was embossed with the 'dainty dot' embossing folder from spellbinders are it was cut.

Challenge #202

Good morning crafters,
I think it's gonna be a nice sunny one!

It's my turn to host the challenge over at
Sunday Sketch and Stamp
so hop on over and join in following this sketch:

Here's my card:
How sweet is this image from Stamposaurus, I forgot I'd got it so this is it's first inking. My Mum brought it for me when we went to the BS&S show when it was held in Kettering. Unfortunately it was only held there for 1 year which is a shame as it so much easier to get to for us than Ally Pally.
The papers were a Crafters Companion freebie with a magazine many years ago. The sentiment is a Papermania stamp & the butterflies were cut out in white on the sillohette, coloured with markers and glittered with glamour dust.

So Sweet @ MAWTT

Good Morning crafters,
I nearly missed the 9 o'clock deadline as I decided not to schedule this post. Not only is the week flying by but I need to be getting myself up in the mornings as I am going back to work on Monday. I have now been off for 9 months so have no routine in my life. Work are letting me go back on a graded return so hopefully it won't be too much of a shock!

Sarah is hosting the new challenge over at
this week Team A with a super theme
So Sweet
So we want to see anything Food Related or an image that you think is really sweet.

I have used a Stamping Bella image Claudia has some Candy & sentiment. Coloured with Markers, chalks and glitter with viva pearls dotted around the image. The papers were free with a magazine several years ago. The number was computer generated and cut out with a tag die.

This week this super prize is on offer to the lucky winner
