Wonderful Day

Good Morning,

I'm hoping to have a wonderful day out with my lovely Sister, plan a bit of shopping then lunch.

Then home to spend a bit of time in my craft room for a play on my new sewing machine. I want to have a go at free motion, got as far as getting the machine out yesterday but was not brave enough.

Good Morning,

Thought I would share a wall hanging I made at work as inspiration for the patients.

It's made from a piece of planned pallet wood that was painted with a diluted emulsion paint and the edges were inked with distress ink. The lettering and heart were applied using  stencils that were cut out on the cameo. The gold heart was gold leafed, the glue being applied through a stencil.

I was pleased with how it turned out.

It's been a popular activity in the run up to Valentines & Mother's Day.
