Dream

Good Afternoon,

I've been a bit quiet of late due to sharing my laptop with my Daughter as hers is poorly.
I've had a training day at work today and got out a bit early so have come home, got myself a cuppa and sat down to post this.

I have used a cute stamp from LOTV, isn't it just a lovely image. I have coloured it in with Spectrum Noirs, fleximarkers & a little chalk. The bunting was cut out on the silhouette and distressed with Tea Dye distress ink, as was the dream ticket. I have put a strip of fabric vintage ribbon across the centre and embellished this with bakers twine.

I would like to enter the following:

Ellie Elephant

Good Evening,

I'm a bit late today and have been a little quiet of late. This is because my Daughter's laptop is still poorly so we are sharing mine, I get withdrawal symptoms and when I get a chance to use it I don't know what to do first.

Anyway onto my card & today it is one that I was asked to do by a friend of a friend. She picked the image which is  Ellie Elephant by Stamposaurus, I used spectrum noirs & chalk to colour it in & cut it out leaving a little border all the way round. The numbers were cut out on the silhouette in a pattered paper and a shadow in silver mirri. The image, number & sentiment have been raised onto an embossed background.

I would just like to say a bit thank you to Polka Doodles who gave me 2nd place for my Patriotic Nelly card in their challenge Regal colours - Diamond Jubilee. What a surprise, I was chuffed thank you

Love & Kisses

Good morning,

Another wet day here in Northampton, hopefully it will dry up later.

Today's card is a quickie, I have printed off an image from Do Crafts "Especially for you" CD. It has been cut out with a spellbinders circle die and has been mounted onto a scalloped circle that has had distress ink applied to the edges. The papers are from Nitwits which again have been mounted onto a mat that has been distressed with the same distress ink. A sentiment has been added direct to the paper and a bit of bling has been added to finish off.

Patriotic Nelly

Good Morning,

Well a little break for us all and hopefully a bit of play time. Hope the weather stays nice (although it's raining here this morning) for all the street parties that are taking place over this holiday.

My card today is in keeping with all the union jacks about at the moment. I have added a crafters companion image (again) which was coloured with spectrum noirs & chalks. The bunting was cut on the silhouette and has had distress ink added to the edges and stamped with an alphabet set from dimension fourth. Bakers twine has been threaded through the holes to string the word together. A distressed die cut border has been used across the centre which has had ribbon and brads added to it for that finishing touch
