Krafty Ted

Good morning,
I would like to share a card with you today that I made a couple of weeks ago when playing with my new cameo cutting machine.
The card base was cut using a cut file from Birds cards in kraft.
The butterflies, leaves and backing paper were cut and the sentiment was print and cut on the Cameo.

The image was stamped, coloured with markers then cut out leaving a bit of a white edge.
The flowers were die cut and punched and layered up with gems added to the centers

Have a great day everyone!
Thank you for coming to visit me today, the more the merrier

FSC #93

Good Evening to all my lovely blogging buddies,

Have you got a nice weekend planned?
I have!
I always have the family for Christmas dinner which I really enjoy. So this year I decided to have monthly roast dinners for all that wish to attend, this can be anything up to 14.
A bit of a squeeze round the table but great to see everyone. The last Sunday of the month is when the roasts are planned which is this weekend, can't wait.

This fortnight one lucky winner will win a $8 Gift Certificate for Saturated Canary.

so get your entries in using this fabby sketch.

Here's what I did with the sketch:

Both the papers and the image are from LOTV and have been mounted onto kraft card.
A bit of hessian, a computer generated sentiment and a bit of card candi and there you have it.

Silver Anniversary

Good Morning,

A little bit of sparkle this morning.
I was asked to make a card for a 25th wedding anniversary & immediately thought of a stamp that I brought some time ago which I have never got round to inking up. I also knew the colour combo I was going to use, silver and aqua, just rings silver wedding to me

So here it is:

The image is a stamp by Chloe called lattice heart which I stamped several times and heat embossed with silver WOW powder then decoupaged up after adding glitter, and lots of it! The papers are printed from crafters companion Camden Town CD and swiss dots embossed white paper. All layers were matted onto silver mirri card. Organza ribbon & bow, pearls & a sparkler was added for that extra bit of bling. Oh, nearly forgot the numbers, they were cut on my cameo.

Hope you likey!

I had to make another card for the same couple, be back tomorrow to share that one. It's very different and not a bit of glitter in sight!

Shaping up @ MAWTT

Good Morning,

Hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather we are having at the moment, I know I am. Can't wait to start cooking on the BBQ, well actually I sit and watch my Son Matthew do the cooking, he loves it.

The lovely Kelly is hosting the challenge this week at
and she is wanting to see you shape up, so anything except squares

This is how I shaped up:

This is the card I made for Matthew's birthday that is coming up in May. He is a X box fan, not that he gets to play as often as he would like since Harvey (my gorgeous little Grandson) was born over a year ago now. How quick that time has gone. I used a free cut file from Birds cards which I cut on the cameo. The buttons were edged in a silver wax and mounted on foam to give a bit of dimension. The sentiment is computer generated and again cut to shape on the cameo.

I hope you will come and join in this week's challenge and visit all my teamies to see how they have shaped up!

Bye Bye Doc

Good Morning,

Something a little different from me this morning.
I was asked by a friend to make her a card to give to her GP who is retiring.

Not much to say about it really. All pieces were cut on the silhouette, image was printed and cut. The backing papers were printed from CC barkley CD. A mixture of brads, buttons & gems were added to the center of the stars for a bit of colour.

Ladybird, Ladybird

Good Afternoon,

I hope you had a good weekend and  have a great week ahead.
My weekend was very busy, family visiting Saturday and Harvey came to spend the day with us on Sunday while Mummy was working and Daddy was having a bit of me time.
It's a good job I had my DT card made for the new challenge starting today over at
The theme this fortnight is
Lets Get Krafty
I cut my kraft card base on my Cameo using a file from Birds Cards

This fortnight Imagine That are kindly sponsoring the challenge and they gave the DT some digi's to use on their creations. I have used Ladybug Friends image & sentiment which I print & cut on the cameo then used watercolour pencils to colour the image in adding some stickles for a bit of glitz. The kraft card butterflies were also cut on the cameo and were covered with stickles & bodies added using cosmic shimmer gold coloured glue.

Hop on over to see what else has been created by my teamies with this and other images from this week's sponsor here. If you enjoy using kraft why not come and join in the challenge.

FSC #92

Good Evening,

Bit late with my post tonight because I've been having a new broadband modem installed. Hopefully it will now be faster and stay connected, I was fed up of turning the power off to reconnect. I am hoping that it will make visiting all your lovely blogs easier/quicker.

I'm here this evening to share my DT card with you for the new challenge starting over at

This fortnights sponsor  is Zuri Artsy Craftsy

They are offering one lucky winner 3 digis from their shop!

Here is the sketch we have for you to use for this challenge

This is what I did using the sketch using an image from the sponsor

I decided to make an easel card, not sure why because I do find them difficult to photograph.
Image - Maia from Zuri Artsy Craftsy
Papers - Back to basics IV
Sentiment - Computer generated
The image and sentiment shape was glittered round the edge with Pee wee glitter.
The image was coloured with markers and frantage

Have a lovely weekend!

Wild Flowers

Good Morning,

When I was at the NEC recently I picked up a LOTV pre coloured pad of floral images.
I used one of the images to make today's card, how beautiful is this image!

I teamed it up with a digi printed paper from the Barkley CD. The sentiment is a stamp from Crafters Companion. All layers have been matted onto a bright pink card which is a card I've had for a long time but never been brave enough to use. However I must say I was quite pleased with the outcome and made another one using a different image which I sent to my blogging buddy and teamie Sue for her birthday.

Have a lovely day
