All I Want For Christmas

Good Evening,

Thunder storm has just started here in Northampton, I don't like thunder or lightening. I am writing this while watching the swimming finals.

My card today has been made following the sketch over @ Willow Sketchie Challenge. I have used one of the images from Willow designs that has been coloured with pro markers & chalks. The craft paper aperture is cut using a spellbinder die, the edges has been heat embossed with white sparkle WOW powder so has the glittery bits on the image. The papers behind the aperture are from nitwits, I then enlarged this & cut it out to make the holly embelishments. The sentiment is computer generated

3 of a Kind

Good evening,

I've been a bit quiet of late as I'm still not feeling 100%. Hopefully I'm almost there so am hoping to get back to creating & blogging. I did have a bit of a play at the weekend  as my Granddaughter Alisha was staying over and wanted to make a card for here teacher. She looked through a stack of cards that I had made for inspiration and this is the card she wanted to follow.

She then made this for her teacher.

Alisha chose & coloured the image first, then she hunted through my paper boxes and chose the paper.  I cut the mats for her and with instruction She put it together, she chose to ink the embossed paper and she typed up the sentiment on the computer, then was given help to format it. She also tied the bow herself, not bad hey!

She the decided that she wanted to make another one for a teacher that is leaving the school. She chose all the materials and the image and while she was colouring in the image I cut the mats for her. She was then left to put the card together on her own whilst I sorted the dinner.

Friday Sketch Challenge #21

Good Morning,
It's time for another challenge over @ Friday sketch Challenge  hop on over & see what the wonderful DT have created to inspire you! Can't wait to see what you create!

Here's my card. I have used one of our sposors digi stamps. The image is a single hedgehog that I have copied and flipped to create the image on my card. I have used one of the heart icons that comes with the image, resized them to create a 3 hearts above the hedgehogs to give a feel of love. I then used the heart image to create my own backing paper that I have coloured using distress ink. The image has been coloured using pro markers & chalk, the hearts with distrss ink. I then punched some flowers out that I have layered up and inked which have been finished off with some pearls

this week it's my sketch, hope you like it!

Birthday Boy

Good Evening,

Just got in from work after doing a long day. It would be quite easy to go straight off to bed but as I've been rubbish at posting just lately thought I would make an effort tonight.

My card tonight is made with paper from my scraps box (don't they accumalate!) Again I've added some bunting threaded onto bakers twine, cut so much out on the sillohette need to use it up, (I do like it though). I've added a bit of faux stitching too, creative or what! The image is from LOTV coloured with Spectrum's

I would like to enter the following:

Lili's little fairies - a little distressed (not sure if the distressed bunting is enough to count as a little)

With This Ring...

Good Evening,

I've not been about for a while as I've not been feeling too good, but hopefully I'm on the mend so will be visiting you all fairly soon.

Thought I would post a card I made for a friend's Daughter who got married last weekend, I should've gone to the wedding  but was feeling too ill to socialise so stayed at home. My card is made using an image from DigiStamp Boutique & is coloured in with pro & flexi markers & spectrum noirs. The paper is from the pampered pets range & the ribbon that is wrapped around the paper strip is off a cake that a girl at work bought in when she was leaving. I saved the ribbon to add to my stash as I knew it would come in usefull one day!!!! The roses, leaves & butterfly were cut out on the silhouette, & yes I've glittered the butterfly with glamour dust.

I would like to enter the following:

Totally papercraft - can you digi it?
