Emily Sitting on a Snowball

Good Morning,

What a chilly one it is!!!!

I've been having a little play with the new winter digi's over @ The Digi Garden oh & what cuties they are.

I have made this rocker card which I cut out using We R Memory Keepers circle cutter.
The image is  'Emily Sitting on a Snowball' that has been cut out using a spellbinder circle die.
This has then been mounted onto a scalloped circle die that has been sponged using  'brilliance' peacock ink pad (just the blue)

I have used Spec's to colour in the image with a touch of chalk.
Glamour dust has been added to the hat & snowball & cosmic shimmer glitter jewels to the snow on the ground.

The paper is from Polka Doodles 'Jingle Jangle' CD which has also been edged with 'brilliance' ink
The snowflake is 3 spellbinder dies layered together with a gem in the centre.

Jacqui from The Digi Garden kindly uploads a freebie every Friday to Facebook . Why not hop over and grab this week's it's one of her new winter images.  http://www.facebook.com/#!/TheDigiGarden

You Can Never Have Too Many!

Good Evening,

I've had a little play today and made theses shoes into a card.

My Daughter designed the shoes for me as a vector file so that I could cut it on the silhouette. The file is also a digital template that can be cut out by hand if anyone is interested.

The shoes came about as I was asked for a card with a shoe theme. As I had nothing suitable  Kaylee got busy and this is the result (I wish I could do it myself!!!)

I cut round the shoe once mounted onto the card to produce a shaped card and applied the sentiment that is computer generated onto the inside of the card. The flowers are handmade by tearing a circle, this has then been rolled on a quilling tool to form a rose.
The flowers are punched out and 2 have been layered together and a viva pearl pen has been used for the centres. The bows are pieces of ribbon that have been threaded through pearly buckle embellies

Before I go I would just like to say hello to my  followers both new & old. Thank you for your comments I love to sit with a cuppa and read them, it makes my day
THANK YOU

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #128

Good Morning,

Mine's not started to well! I'm having trouble with my photo's, not sure what I'm doing wrong! I'm gonna wait for my Daughter to get out of bed and ask her to help me.

Had a lovely day yesterday spending my pennies, well pounds at the Big Stamping & Scrapbooking Show in Kettering. It's the same show that is at Ally Pally that I never manage to get to, so I'm so pleased they have brought it nearer to home. Hopefully it was a success and they'll make it a regular event.

Anyway it's time for a new challenge over @ Sunday Sketch & Stamp. The lovely Sjoukje has designed us a great sketch to work with, don't forget to include a stamped image or sentiment on your creation to qualify for a chance to win a wonderful prize.

Tick or Treat

Good Morning,

October already, where has this year gone?

I've been having a play with some new Halloween digi's from The Digi Garden. I  decided to use  Edward's pumpkin costume, isn't is just so cute! I made a card with a matching tag

I coloured the image in with Spec's & chalk & used distress ink blended round the image and sentiments. The spiders webs were cut on the silhouette & glittered with black glitter that is not showing up on the photo. The paper is printed from a Do Crafts CD, think it may have been Woodland Friends

I have scheduled this post so fingers crossed, it didn't work and I kept my fingers crossed all day!!!!!!!
