Little Mouse's Slumber

Good Evening,

I've had a little play with one of my new digi stamps that I won , it is  'Little Mouse's Slumber' from Di's digi downloads, isn' it just so cute. I was spoilt for choice, there's so many great images in their store. I'm sure to return to fill a basket or 2!

I coloured the image with Pro & Flexi Markers and added glamour dust to give the butterflies a bit of sparkle. The sentiment is computer generated & the bow has been embellished with a pearly heart. Yet again I've used my favourite embossing folder 'swiss dots'

I made this to enter this week's challenge over @ Willow Sketchie

This week you can choose to follow any sketch from recent challenges. I choose the sketch  from the 9th August, this was Pauline's final sketch before stepping down from the DT. The theme is favourite things, I've used my fav embossing folder

Good Morning,

Lucy's Flower

Good Evening,

What a wet day it's been. My washing was hung out to dry but got a lot wetter. Oh well!!!
Hope everyone that went to Ally Pally had a good spend, lots of goodies to play with!

My card today has been made following the sketch & theme (paper piecing) over @ Willow Sketchie. I do like working from a sketch.

The image I have used is Lucy's Flower from The Digi Garden.
Her skin, hair & socks have been coloured with promarkers & chalk. The dress & headband have been paper pieced with the orange polka dot paper used as a backing paper which I shrunk down to give a smaller print. I then picked the colour from the dotty paper to colour a piece of paper that I then used to paper piece the shoes & flower.
The backing papers are a free download from The Shabby Princess which have been edged with a spellbinder die. Seam binding ribbon in ivory has been used across the card with a bow that has a brad in the knot. I have used a pearl in the centre of the flower & viva pearls around the image.

Thought I would share a card with you that I was asked to make by a friend of a friend. The brief was a wedding card using the LOTV Bride & Groom image in autumnal colours. It's not a colour scheme I usually use but I think it's turned out OK.
The roses were made using a torn circle of cream pearlesent paper which was torn into a spiral & rolled.

They say they've been trying to phone me but I know that's not true as I've had my phone on me 24/7, yes I took it to bed with me in case they phoned early in the morning. I waffling......sorry

My card today has been made with the challenge over @ Totally Gorjuss in mind, pink & green and this is surely that! This is a colour combo that I don't usually go for so this was quite challenging for me but I think it's turned out OK!

You're a Star

Good  Evening,

Second post today as I have been playing with my new images from The Digi Garden, trouble is I don't know which one to use first they're all so sweet.

I have used Emily is a Fairy again but this time I have cut round the image (these images are perfect for this) I have used Pro & Flexi Markers & chalks to colour her in. A fairy needs a bit of sparkle so I have glittered her wings with glamour dust. The stars were cut on the silhouette which have had a sentiment & pearls added to the centres. The paper was free with a mag and the white strip has been embossed with the swiss dots folder.

My First Digi Garden Card

Good Evening,

I'm back as promised with my first card using a Digi Garden image. This one is Emily is a Fairy that I have coloured in with Pro & Flexi Markers & chalks. I have glittered her wings & spots on her dress with glamour dust & added viva pearls around the image. The papers have been printed off quite a while, I think the dotty one is from the Do Crafts Boofle CD & the flowery one is a Nitwits paper. I have mounted these onto brown wrapping paper, one edge was cut with a spellbinder die. The sentiment is computer generated and the buttons have a piece of bakers twine knotted through them. I have also added a doily behind the image.

The images are so cute you'll find it hard to just pick one

Hop on over & see what's in store
